Happy Easter

Well so far 4 more pages done.  I have not been very productive today!  We went to church and lunch and then I helped my son with his homework.  Then spent forever finding pictures to use for my next pages.  I ended up organizing PSE for most of the day and I'm not even close to being done.

Well this layout is of pictures from April 2004 when my son was in T-Ball.  I'm starting to do all his baseball pictures to make a baseball album for him.  You may see a lot of baseball pages in the future.
To start with I used Allison Davis' sketch from Scrapbook Generations.  This was the Feb. 2013 Sketch Day Two.  I used a crazy mix of products old and new.

Mambi paper from an old sports stack
24/7 Simple Stories paper
Colorbox paper from a sports kit my friend gave me
Karen Foster License plate
Could 9, Memories Complete and Scrapworks stickers
Colorbox Cat's Eye and Prima Inc
Studio Calico PL card

What came out is not my favorite but ok for the subject.

Ok, the last two I will post tonight are from the Scrapbook Generations February 2013 Sketch Day One kit by Debbie Sanders.  This one was the kit. I added the Memories bling and six black brads from my stash (more to use it than for any other reason).  These were photos taken back in June 2004 when visiting my parents.

First 3 pages done!

Well, 3/50 completed.  Here is my first one.  It is from Scrapbook Generations Feb. 2013 Sketch Day 2 kit.  It used the My Mind's Eye Collectable collection plus I added a few things from my stash.  I used my Prima chalk inks, EK Success Architectural glass dots in the center of the flowers, swirl stamp from my stash of old wooden stamps, and some very old Autumn Leaves chipboard elements.

It was from a field trip that my son went on back in 2005 to the Children's Museum.  The pictures struck me because the kids all look like they are watching our for each other and encouraging each other to try new things.

My next is the finished layout using the Silhouette challenge from my previous blog.  I also used Shimelle's sketch Using Triangles in your Design.

This is a photo my daughter took of the coach she has had since she was 8.  He watches over his girl's and that is showing in this photo.  i used the Bo Bunny Mama Razzi 2 papers, Tim Holt and Cat's Eye inks and an old soccer ball sticker I had.

Using My Stash

After quite a week of spending I made a commitment to finish 50 pages or items before I buy more.  This was suggested through a post on Scrap n Yap, my new favorite message board.  I am going to post here when I finish a project (or have anything else fun to add inspiration or motivation).

My first inspiration came from Digital Photography School.  They had an article on photographing silhouettes.  I thought about using this in connection with a Shimelle video to make a layout.  I'll post the project when I finish it.

My first picture is one taken at soccer practice by my daughter.  This is her coach looking over the field.

Another picture I took a couple of years ago of my son looking over the lake.
