Two more pages

Tonight I mixed the old and the new.  The old was the paper.  Chatterbox Scrapbook Walls Greenhouse collection.  This was really popular many years ago.  The paper is very thin and difficult to work with but mixed well.

The event was several of the girls goofing around at school taking pics their cell phones.

I accidentally used one photo I had already scrapped but I left it in.

Up to 70

This layout is from the April Scrapbook Generations Kit.  I used pictures from last spring break in Destin, FL.  Carly wanted to title it Summer Lovin so I did!

68 projects Complete!

Today I finished up my Bo Bunny Christmas kit.  Here are the last few projects from it.

Also here are the last two pages I did on my trip.  There are hidden tabs with the journalling and extra pictures of our trip to Fredricksburg, TX National Museum of the Pacific War.

Finally another post

Well after losing all the photos from my SD card and spending two days recovering them I can finally try to post my last three layouts.

The first is called Patchwork Christmas and has a little pop-up book full of additional photos.   This was from Scrapjammies.

Some detail of the little book:

The next is from a Scrapbook Generations Sketch Day One Sketch and my old papers.  It did use some new Thickers.   I went to the Cape on Business for the practice launch of Columbia.  Leslie and Perry came down to visit one day and we took these photos.

A few more Projects

First is a card using Shimelle Prompt 2.  It was made from scraps and an old Stampin Up stamp.

Next are two layouts from Scrapbook Generation Super Sketch Club from March.

The first is from a party that was held in my apartment when I was in college the night of APO initiation.

The next one were random photos I took of Carly just after they won the first playoff game in their school's history.

This was from Scrapbook Generations Sketch Day One by Allison Davis. The photos were of me at parks throughout my life.

Last one for tonight was from another Scrapbook Generations Page Kit.  The photos are of Nathan at his first practice in First Grade with the Yankees.

Back From Vacation

I'm back.  My vacation began with my plane having navigation problems and then turning back to Houston about 1/3 of the way to Tampa.  Oh joy.  They said by the time they got back to Houston all kinds of other things were failing.  What a wonderful thing to hear.  I ended up not getting to Anita's house until about 3 am.

Well, while I was there I got a lot of scrapping done.  I'm going to post everything but it may take a few days to get it all done.

The first things I'll post are projects from a Bo-Bunny kit that was hanging around my house for years.

The next one for tonight is a March Scrapbook Generations Kit that I used old Christmas photos for.

Pretty Paper Party Challenge 2

Ok, I used Shimelle's sketch and ideas to come up with the layout below.  I used almost all very old materials.  The majority of the patterned paper and stickers were from Memories Complete Grandparent collection.  This was from about 2009.  I also used a scrap from a Club Scrap kit, new Bo Bunny Mama Razzi 2 jewels and a Studio Calico Label Sticker.   The title is a Rub On but I'm not sure who it was by.

Heading off to Florida to take pictures and scrap!

Pretty Paper Party Challenge 1

I just started doing Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party with the gals at Scrap n Yap.  This is my first project from prompt #1.  I used MME Lost & Found 3, Teresa Collins, WRMK and Thickers.  All that I used were leftovers from kits I  had.

I also did a card from this prompt.

Two Cards

Tonight I was too tired to do much of anything so I decided to make two cards.  Earlier in the day I asked my Peeps at Scrap n Yap to inspire me to make cards.  Using some of their suggestions here is what I came up with using scraps from my Scrapbook Generations kit.

"Sports and Activities" by Mumma Me pp
Kaleidoscope confetti pp and cardstock sticker by MME from 2007
Memories Complete boy collection stickers and PP
Prima English Ivy Chalk ink

35 Today

I finished another UFO, again not sure where it came from.  I did have what I wanted to write on a piece of paper so I just copied it to the layout and added some photos.  That is about all I had in me today.  I really didn't feel well.

Tonight I finished two more from the March Scrapbook Generations Sketchday Two sketch by Debbie Sanders using their kit.  The kit uses Fancy Pants Trend Setter Paper.

32 Now!

Ok, this project was 16 pages completed.  This was a UFO called What I Love that was sitting on my desk taking up space.  I was a kit from Embellish It that used Basic Grey Two Scoops Line.  It is a cute board book.  I was impressed when I went to their site today and saw what cute things they have.  I have no idea how old this kit is but probably from CKU, CKC or GASC class.

Up to 16

I didn't get a lot done this week.  I'm not really sure why.  While reading a Scrap n Yap thread I started thinking about Carly's NHS Induction photos.  I had a Valentine's kit from SG I didn't know what to do with so I decided to combine the two.

We were so proud of her because school is not easy for her.  Getting the invitation to be in NHS was HUGE!  We filled out all the paperwork, wrote the essay and she was accepted.  They put a clip of her essay on the overhead and read it.  I captured that with photos but you can't read it so I added journaling saying what it said and put it on the layout with an arrow pointing to the screen.

I copied the front of the program on gray paper and used the logo on one of the banners and the words in place of a photo (since I didn't have that many pictures).

It was a Scrapbook Generations Super Sketch Club kit. I added some Trendy tape that said "The Smart Set", old white letter stickers and Stickles.

The next thing I did was finish a UFO (UnFinished Object) from my stash.  It was from 2006 and I have no idea where it came from.  I guess CKU or CKC or GASC.  All I did to finish it was to add the photos, journaling stickers and a die cut from my Cameo.  It has a little hidden pocket where I put a photo of the girls playing a game.  They had a rope around their waist with a pencil tied to it and they raced to see who could get it into the bottle first.

13 projects done!

Here are the next 4 done Sunday and Monday.  Both of these are from the Scrapbook Generations Super Sketch Club February kit.

On this first one I added some Stickles paint and some word stickersl

This was of a layout of a day on the lake that started out so much fun but ended up with Carly terrified there were alligators in the water.

The next one is just random pictures of kisses.  The kids, Don and their cousins are all in the photos.  One of the photos isn't good but it is still one of my favorites.  I added a die cut and some extra hearts to this layout.

Day off Work

Well I took the day off to get things done and basically got almost nothing done.  I ended up taking my daughter to track practice, buying ink and paper for the printer, going back to pick her up, helping my son with homework, painting her nails and after all than only getting 2 pages done.  So I'm now to 9//50.  I'm hoping I can get a couple more before bedtime.

This in another Scrapbook Generations sketch.  Sketch Day One, February 2013 by Allison Davis.  I went back in my stash again and used

Mambi papers from the sports stack
Simple Stories paper and stickers
2 different Washi tapes.  One is used to make the border on the paper.
Basic Grey Black Tie paper and letter stickers
Old Paper House and EK Success stickers
A die cut of a glove
An old vellum quote
